I was very fortunate to participate in launching the new luxury handbag brand online, 'AVGVS.com'. 

As the website was both brand introduction and storefront, it was imperative to get the mixture of story and e-commerce right. Over the year we engaged with the client to introduce a series of site enhancements, including a currency converter, as well as designing and implementing a series of collection inspiration images and social icons.

Challenges:

• To design and create a wholistic shopping experience by adjusting and customising the Wordpress template

• To implement plugins for features that didn’t come out of the box - e.g. pop ups, product image zoom, specific filters, instagram feed

• To document the processes for the operations backend

I worked on a mixture of website design and coding, made font and layout choices and ensured that the entire website was consistent with the initial branding.

While we were in development, we built a landing page with a splash screen as follows:

We launched a fully functional website using Wordpress and Woocommerce in three and a half months.
